A dirty bomb attack is basically nuclear waste spread over an area by conventional explosives. The blast will not be as widespread as a nuclear attack, but instead over a local area. Learn to survive now in case it ever happens in your area.
Steps
- Get under cover. This act will protect you from the explosion and the radiation.
- Stay where you are for quite a few minutes. Keep covered, then consider if you are able to go and help fight fires. The very young, the infirm, the elderly and pregnant women should remain under cover.
- Evacuate the area. Get out by the nearest emergency exit, telling other people to keep calm.
